December holiday meeting

This month's meeting will include the introduction of this year's new BOD and Committee members.

Learning objectives:

1. Attendees will receive several practical ideas and strategies with which to express love in their work, home, and other relationship environments.
2. Attendees will review the significance of various love languages that people they encounter “speak,” and how to increase one’s effectiveness in those languages.
3. Attendees will be able to classify several potential roadblocks that can get in the way of effective communication or decrease the depth of our desire to effectively communicate with others.

About the Presenter

Gary Sinclair

Gary is an author, speaker, leadership coach, and consultant for leaders and organizations in the business and faith worlds. He is certified with The John Maxwell Team. He has written five books including, Never Quit Climbing: Overcoming Life’s Seemingly Insurmountable Mountains, What On Earth Are You Waiting For: Avoiding Life In The Someday Syndrome, and a chapter in the Amazon Best Seller, The Happiness Code.

He has been an educator, counselor, and pastor and now also assists leaders who are facing personal and work challenges. He has been married to Jackie since 1976, has two grown children, and six grandsons. He was named Father Figure of the Year in Illinois in 2000 and received the Counselor of the Year award in 1985 from Grace Theological Seminary.

Gary has a B.S. degree in education, an M.Ed., and M.A. in counseling, and additional seminary hours. He has climbed nine 14000’ mountains, is a studio level keyboard player, and loves great coffee shops.
