  1. Attendees will learn the elements of a Compliance Program.
  2. Attendees will be able to identify the practical application of Compliance during a pandemic.
  3. Attendees will be able to restate HIPAA requirements: privacy rule, security rule and breach notification.

 

About the Presenter

Erin Pope

Erin is the Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer for Golden Living and affiliates, a family of healthcare companies.  Golden LivingCenters is recognized as a leader in post-acute healthcare providing long-term and skilled nursing care.   Erin leads the Compliance Department for Golden Living which includes privacy, internal audit, project management and records management.  Erin joined Golden Living as Assistant General Counsel directing electronic discovery efforts for all litigation matters and investigations for Golden Living and affiliates.  Prior to joining Golden Living, Erin practiced with a national law firm focused on healthcare issues including liability defense, reimbursement and regulatory compliance.
